Popular Easter Crafts to Sell (in 2025)

If you have a handmade business and want ideas for crafts you can make and sell at craft shows, on Etsy, or through your website, this article shares some of the most popular Easter products consumers are currently searching and shopping for.

How I created this list

I researched “Easter” keywords to see which ones have the highest search volume each month and also researched individual online marketplaces to see which keywords each platform gets traffic for.

The ideas I share are based on:

  • Search volume – using a paid tool, I can find out approximately how many people are searching a term each month online. This is not specific to a platform (e.g. Etsy) but rather how many people open a search engine (e.g. Google) and search a term. I only share product terms that have high search volumes.
  • Traffic – I categorized search terms by shopping platforms and shared terms that have a high search volume (on search engines such as Google) and that are seeing an increase in traffic to the shopping platform (e.g. Etsy).
  • Competition – the research tool I use also shares how competitive a keyword is (meaning, are thousands of websites competing for the term and do big corporations rank #1? Or is the term less competitive and ideal for a smaller Etsy business or website to target?). I share terms that are less competitive.

The following list doesn’t include every Easter product consumers search for; I stuck to high volume/low competition keywords, which I believe are the best fit for a small craft business.

Start Now

I created this list in the 1st & 2nd week of February and every online marketplace I researched is seeing an increase in traffic for the terms listed below.

This tells us consumers are already shopping for Easter products, so be sure to update your shop or craft show table with a few items.

Popular Easter Crafts to Make & Sell (2025)

My general observations

After researching which keywords are the most popular, I did some “online shopping” to see which trends I noticed among 2025 Easter products.

Softer colors

Pastels are always popular for spring, however Easter colors can be bright and colourful or more muted.

I noticed, whether I was searching Easter baskets, wreaths, or decorations, the top results favoured more muted colors.

Cottage core vibe

Many of the textiles (Easter placemats, tablecloths, table runners, etc.) also focused on more muted colors and patterns that give a cottage core vibe (e.g. ditsy print florals, country style, etc.)

Wicker/rattan

Pottery Barn appears to be a top shopping destination for Easter decor. They feature several wicker items (e.g. oversized wicker eggs, wicker bunny rabbits, wicker baskets, wicker placemats, etc.).

This is on-trend with one of 2025’s trends: rattan.

Breakout trend: Easter Gnomes

Although Easter gnomes aren’t new, the overall search volume was up in 2024 and appears to be continuing up for 2025.

Easter products popular on Etsy

Etsy is getting an increase in traffic for the following Easter-related terms:

  • Easter wreath
  • Personalized Easter Baskets (custom Easter basket is also a popular term)
  • Easter bunny svg
  • Mommy and me Easter dresses
  • Easter gnomes
  • Easter pregnancy announcement
  • Baby boy Easter outfit
  • Easter decorations
  • Easter earrings
  • Easter nails
  • Easter pajamas
  • Easter basket stuffers
  • Premade Easter baskets
  • Easter cards
  • Easter wallpaper aesthetic
  • Easter placemats
  • Newborn Easter outfit
  • Baby’s first Easter

Handmade Weekly created an Easter wreath by adding pastel-colored easter eggs to a lamb’s ear wreath:

The following terms don’t have as much traffic on Etsy as the previous, but are still popular and seeing an increase in traffic:

  • Easter shirts
  • Personalized Easter basket liner
  • Easter sweatshirt
  • Easter countdown
  • Easter decorations outdoor
  • Personalized Easter eggs
  • Smocked Easter dress
  • Easter bulletin board

Easter products popular on Amazon

Amazon does have a handmade marketplace, however, the traffic for the following keywords isn’t specific to the “handmade” side.

These popular search terms are still relevant because they show consumer interest in specific products.

Do keep in mind, that often, Amazon shoppers are looking for low prices and quick delivery. So if you find a product idea on this list, that’s not also on Etsy’s list, research the idea to ensure it’s appropriate for a small handmade business (steps to do that are found at the end of this article).

  • Easter basket
  • Personalized Easter baskets
  • Easter bunny costume
  • Easter gifts
  • Easter dresses
  • Outdoor Easter decorations
  • Matching Easter outfits
  • Easter wreath
  • Family Easter outfits
  • Easter gifts for teens
  • Easter gnomes
  • Easter pajamas
  • Baby boy Easter outfit
  • Easter gifts for adults
  • Easter gifts for kids
  • Prefilled Easter eggs
  • Toddler Easter dress
  • Girls Easter dress
  • Easter earrings
  • Mommy and me Easter dresses
  • Baby girl Easter dress
  • Easter shirts
  • Easter garland
  • Easter games
  • Easter tablecloth
  • Easter placemats

Easter products popular at Walmart

Again, consumers are generally looking for budget-friendly items when shopping at Walmart, however, I found a few additional Easter-related products that are popular with consumers.

  • Easter baskets
  • Easter gnomes
  • Easter tablecloth
  • Easter socks
  • Prefilled Easter eggs/baskets
  • Easter wreath
  • Easter table runner
  • Easter placemats
  • Easter egg stuffers
  • Easter shower curtain

Easter product popular at Michaels

I included the Easter terms that Michaels gets the most traffic for to show which type of crafty/DIY items consumers are interested in.

  • Easter decorations
  • Easter decor
  • Easter garland
  • Easter pillows
  • Outdoor Easter decorations
  • Easter crafts for kids

Easter products popular at Pottery Barn

I Googled a couple of popular Easter terms consumers are already searching to see which retailers appeared in the top spots. And Pottery Barn appears to be one of the most popular retailers for Easter decor (outside of Amazon and Walmart). It’s also a term many consumers add to their searches (e.g. “Personalized Easter baskets Pottery Barn” is a common search term).

Here are the Easter items Pottery Barn is gaining traffic for:

  • Easter decorations
  • Easter decor
  • Easter table decor
  • Easter table
  • Easter plates
  • Easter placemats
  • Easter tablecloth
  • Easter pillows
  • Easter dinnerware
  • Easter games for adults

Niche Easter products

Finally, I researched each term from above to see if there are any specifics consumers are searching for when it comes to them.

Easter basket stuffers

“Stuffers” is an important term to note when it comes to Easter baskets. I personally would have never thought to use the term when describing an item that would fit well into an Easter basket, but it makes sense that consumers search for Easter basket stuffers as they do stocking stuffers at Christmas.

Adult/Teens/Kids

The term “adult Easter basket” is searched more than “kids easter basket” (if you can believe it). “Easter basket ideas for teens” and “for adults” are also more commonly searched than “Easter basket ideas for kids”.

I suppose it’s easy to fill a kid’s Easter basket with candy, chocolate, and toys. So get creative and give consumers unique ideas for adult and teen Easter baskets.

“Baby” and “toddler” are also commonly searched with “Easter basket”, just not nearly as much as adult, teen, and kid.

Easter door decorations

Think outside the box when it comes to what people can hang on their front doors, aside from wreaths.

Easter Crafts for Craft Shows

These Easter products didn’t show up in my research, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they wouldn’t sell at craft shows or on Etsy.

The previous ideas are great if you want to attract shoppers (using SEO) when they’re searching for specific items.

However, if you have a big following on social media, get lots of traffic to your shop, or are vending at a craft fair where shoppers will be coming to you, you don’t need to rely as heavily on popular search terms.

The following are some fun DIYs I came across that you may want to try selling.

Easter-themed soap and candles

Try creating soaps, bath bombs, candles, etc. in Easter shapes or scents.

Easter basket alternatives

Think outside the box when it comes to what can be a vehicle for Easter candy or gifts. It’s Always Autumn turned flower pots into Easter bunnies:

Easter plants/pots

There are many ways to give a pot an Easter vibe; from painting it a pastel color, adding bunny ears, or creating a pot in a unique shape, like these Easter egg pots made by Happiness is Homemade:

Bunny bags

There are lots of cute tutorials for Easter-themed bags and tote bags. These could be used to wear or to fill with Easter gifts.

Here’s one by Alice & Lois:

Easter games

“Easter games” is a popular search term, although it doesn’t seem as though consumers are looking for a specific game. This bunny pinata by Lovely Indeed is a creative game for kids to play:

Easter crochet projects

You can knit/crochet Easter eggs, bags, baskets, hats, etc. Here’s a free pattern and tutorial to crochet an Easter egg cozy. I think these would be great in a larger size to align with the popular search term: “newborn Easter outfit”.

How to further research an idea

It’s important to ensure a product is the right fit for a handmade business and that you know the consumer intent behind a search.

For example, at first glance, I may think “Easter wallpaper” is peel-and-stick wallpaper people can hang in their homes. But when you Google the term “Easter wallpaper” the top results show shopping intent; Easter-themed backgrounds people can upload to their phones/laptops/desktop computers.

Take the following steps before landing on an idea:

1 – Google the term

2 – Look at the top results in Google

The top results will be a good indication of what’s popular with consumers. As mentioned, I noticed more muted pastel colors when searching a variety of Easter products, rather than bright yellows, purples, and pinks. Those top results tell me more consumers are interested in soft pastel-coloured Easter products.

Seeing Etsy as a result on the first page is a good indication that people are interested in the handmade version of that product.

If you only see results for Amazon, Walmart, and other budget-friendly e-commerce stores, the idea may not be a good fit for a handmade business.

3 – Search the term on Etsy

Open Etsy and type the term into Etsy’s search bar (e.g. Easter basket stuffers). Look at the results on the first few pages to get an idea of what types of products are more popular with handmade shoppers.

Which colors, styles, prices, etc. appear the most on the first page? This is typically a good indication of what’s most popular.

You can also analyze individual products and shops to get a better idea of approximate sales/reviews.

I hope this article sparks some ideas for your handmade business!
